Our Tanzania small group safaris operate with scheduled departures, experienced local safari guides and specially designed safari vehicles. Groups are intentionally kept small, with a maximum of 6 participants per vehicle, to ensure comfort, better wildlife viewing and excellent photography opportunities during the safari experience.
All itineraries are designed with a minimum duration of 6 days, including the first pre-safari overnight stay in Arusha before the safari begins.
How many guests travel in each safari vehicle?
Each Tanzania small group safari is limited to a maximum of 6 guests per specially designed 4×4 safari vehicle. This ensures a comfortable travel experience, guaranteed window seats for all participants, and optimal wildlife viewing and photography conditions during game drives.
Are these Tanzania safaris suitable for solo travelers?
Yes, Tanzania small group safaris are ideal for solo travelers, couples, photographers and wildlife enthusiasts who would like to share the safari experience with other like-minded travelers.
Which parks are included in the safari itineraries?
All our Tanzania small group safaris include Serengeti National Park and the Ngorongoro Crater, while selected itineraries also include Tarangire National Park, Lake Manyara National Park and Lake Natron.
When is the best time to see the Serengeti migration?
Exceptional wildlife safaris can be enjoyed in Serengeti National Park throughout the year. For travelers interested in witnessing the Great Migration, the best period is usually from the first week of July to late September in Northern Serengeti, when the famous Mara River crossings may occur, and from December to April in the central and southern Serengeti during the calving season.
Between mid-May and early June, large herds of wildebeest and zebras often gather in the Western Corridor along the Grumeti River.
